ONLINE STORE RETURN POLICY

Our Policy lasts 14 days from date of purchase for returns

 

RETURN CONDITIONS

  • Packaging must be in a 100% resalable condition
  • Item is not damaged and in a sellable condition

If 14 days has past you will not be eligible for a refund for any reason.

Please contact us at sales@celcom.co.za to inform us of your intent to return and the reason before sending your goods.

Please log a return via our website or mail us.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

R125 courier fee will be charged to exchange or return of the items if we are required to collect the items.

If you chose to plan your own shipping, then the items are shipped at your own risk. Please contact us with your arrangements before sending anything to us.

 

CREDIT PROCESS

After we receive your item on a return or exchange, our team of professionals will inspect the item/s.

You will receive an email to confirm whether all is in order.

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return/exchange, and you will be issued a gift card for the return value.

If you approved for a cash refund for any reason, this process would take up to 5 business days

If your return or exchange is rejected, you will be required to plan to collect your items from our office.

WARRANTY

We only replace items if they are damaged or defective upon receiving your ordered items within 3 working days and the courier costs will be at our expensive.

For a defective item, you will need to take images of the defective area and submit them with a full description to the below email address. sales@celcom.co.za. A full evaluation will be done as per images received and if found to be a manufacturing default, collection will be arranged from the customer.

We will then submit this information to the respected manufacturer with a full explanation of the defect as supplied by the customer. Feedback from the manufacturer will be actioned accordingly.

We are authorized distributors of these products and do not control the manufacturing process, but we will try our best to ensure the quality control is at an acceptable standard if the items are cared for in an acceptable manner by the consumers.

 

Commitment to consumers

If an item becomes defective before 6 months from purchase, you can contact us and we will log a fault with the authorized manufactures, if the manufacture agrees to a credit, we will replace the item or issue a gift card if no suitable replacement is available, no cash refunds will be allowed. We will only support this for a period of 6 months. Unfortunately, if the manufacture does not agree to a credit, we unfortunately cannot assist in this period.

 

Hygienic Clause 28(3)(a):

In accordance with Regulation 28(3)(a) of Consumer Contracts, we must inform you that items sealed for hygiene reasons cannot be returned once the seal is broken. Products related to personal hygiene and self-care are non-returnable. This includes toiletry products, bathroom products, body braces, foam cushions, wheelchair cushions, stockings, splints, and other items that come into contact with the body. No hygiene products can be returned if the packaging has been opened, as per Public Health Policy.

 

Return Requirements:

To facilitate the return process, the following items must accompany any return:

  • Customers details:
    • Customer Details: Include the correct shipping address.
    • Original Invoice: The original invoice must be enclosed with the return and given via email.


Important: Returns without the correct shipping address and the original invoice will be rejected and sent back.

  • Original proof of purchase must be produced.
  • Applicable reason for the return (IE Exact reason for fault and/or reason for exchange or refund)
  • Image and video required (to support reason for fault and / or reason for exchange or refund)
  • Picture of the barcode at the back of the packaging for batch confirmation.
  • All accessories that come with the product are returned, and complete in all respects.
  • Any item received with the product purchased must be returned.

The 6-month CPA act does not mean the customer is entitled to a refund without assessment or approval from a relative supplier. Based on the assessment a decision will be made to replace or repair, should we not be able to replace or repair we will offer an alliterate product or credit to the customer within the guidelines of the Terms and Conditions stipulated.


The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return. – Faults resulting from normal wear and tear; – damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product; – damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion; – damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product; – damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product; – instances where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.

Please note that repairs for products damaged by unreasonable use or misuse, or defects resulting from alteration, accident, abuse, or neglect, cannot be collected. If a customer insists on returning such items, they will be liable for all associated costs.

 

Brand-Specific Warranties:

  • Milex: 14-day money-back guarantee. After 14 days, the item must be booked for repair (see “Warranty Against Defects”).
  • Blaupunkt: 14-day money-back guarantee. No repairs unless there is a manufacturing defect (see “Warranty Against Defects”).
  • Ecobright: 14-day money-back guarantee. No repairs unless there is a manufacturing defect (see “Warranty Against Defects”).
  • Polaroid/Polartec: 14-day money-back guarantee. After 14 days, the item must be booked for repair (see “Warranty Against Defects”).

Polaroid Watches Warranty: The warranty does not cover defects resulting from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect, including cracked screens and damaged straps. There is a charge for replacing straps or cracked screens, varying by model.


Warranty Against Defects: Celcom (Pty) Ltd warrants the product from being free of defects in materials and workmanship for six months from the date of purchase. However, the warranty does not apply to products damaged by unreasonable use or misuse, or defects resulting from alteration, accident, abuse, or neglect.
